2006 Pinot Noir , Santa Rita Hills, Babcock Vineyard
$45.00
We obtained grapes from the famed Santa Rita Hills AVA to create a rich multi-layered Pinot Noir. The wine has great appeal derived from cherry, strawberry and hints of cola. It is deep in color and has a silky feel on the palate. The wine was bottled unfiltered to preserve all of the fruit and flavors.

2006 Pinot Noir, Santa Cruz Mountains, Deer Park Vineyard
$45.00
These grapes, grown by the Lester family, were transformed into a wine with deep pigments, cherry flavors and firm tannins. The vineyard near Corralitos in the southern Santa Cruz Mountains is a spectacular place. We combined six clones prior to fermentation, which was carried out in one small bin. The yield was a single barrel and it was bottled unfiltered.

2005 Pinot Noir, Santa Cruz Mountains, Green Valley Road Vineyard
$28.00
This wine is from a fantastic vineyard outside of Watsonville located high (550') above the county fairgrounds. The interesting style - subdued cherry, berry aromas with an interesting layer of cedar - is derived from the very gentle process used in the making of this wine. After fermentation, the juice was lightly pressed and then transferred to French Oak (75%) and Oregon Oak (25%). The final winemaking step, consisted of bottling unfiltered.

2005 Pinot Noir, Santa Cruz Mountains, Remde Vineyard
$28.00
This wine continues our tradition of producing a burgundy-like wine from the beautiful Remde Vineyard located high (550') above the county fair grounds. This Pinot has many dimensions of bright cherry, strawberry and floral aromas. Though the wine has a lighter ruby red color, the layers of flavors are intense. After fermentation, the juice was lightly pressed and then transferred to French Oak. It was bottled without filtration.

2005 Pinot Noir, Santa Lucia Highlands, Sleepy Hollow Vineyard
$28.00
This AVA, above the Salinas Valley floor, has a microclimate allowing long "hang times" to intensify flavors of Pinot Noir grapes. Additional complexity in the fruit is derived from the vineyard location consisting of gently sloping, decomposed granite soils. We are pleased with its style - an overall bold character with flavors of fig, vibrant plum, raspberry and violet. It is deep in color and has a velvety feel on the palate.

2005 Zinfandel, El Dorado, McKay Vineyard
$19.00
This wine features brambleberry, pepper and berry flavors. Such qualities are associated with "Gold Country" Zinfandel. Brief maceration, followed by hand-punch down during the fermentation and final aging in Oregon Oak, was the process used to make this wine. This is a rich wine with apricot, peach, pineapple and other tropical fruit aromas. Its character is drawn from carefully farmed fruit followed by fermentation in French Oak cooperage.

2004 Zinfandel, Russian River Valley, Duarte Vineyard
$19.00
These grapes, grown in Sonoma Zinfandel Country, were transformed in a wine with deep pigments, spicy flavors and firm tannins. The vineyard near Fulton was planted in the 1950's and qualifies for Old Vine designation. The fermentation began before we could pitch any yeast, contributing to the many layers and very nice finish.

2006 Syrah, Arroyo Seco, Ventana Vineyard
$25.00
We love this Syrah which is fruit forward with lots of additional flavors. The vines are from a "cold" climate and the ecology of the vineyard consists of rocks, gravel and sand. These are robust vines grown on their own roots. The viticulture, combined with our old school approach to winemaking, yielded a wine with flavors or pepper, berry and an undercurrent of cigar.
