The creamy texture is accompanied by vanilla and toasted oak with a hint of butter from the complete malo-lactic fermentation. We are excited about the results attained with this Monterey-derived fruit. The winemaking began with a 24-hour maceration, followed by fermentation in French oak and concluded by sur lie aging. The wine offers tropical fruit flavors of fig and creamy pear.     2009 Chardonnay, Santa Cruz Mountains, Terra Bonny Vineyard $23.00 The Santa Cruz Mountain Chardonnay signature of mountain apple and mineral flavors is evident in this wine.
