2008 Chardonnay, Dry Creek Valley, Kreck Vineyard
$24.00
The Terroir of the appellation is reflected in the first taste, featuring a lemon edge which quickly gives way to a rich citrus flavor followed by a smooth finish. There is a background of toasted oak which complements but does not overwhelm the fruity aromas and flavor. The full malo-lactic fermentation was spontaneous and provides a hint of butter.

2008 Chardonnay, Santa Cruz Mountains, 2-Vineyard Blend
$23.00
The Santa Cruz Mountain Chardonnay signature of green apple, lemon and mineral flavors is clearly evident in this wine. The fruit is derived from two small vineyards in two distinct sub-regions of the Santa Cruz Mountains that are excellent sites for Burgundian grapes. Approximately 50% of the grapes come from the Corralitos/Pleasant Valley sub-region while the Ben Lomond Mountain area was the site for the rest. Fermentation in 100% French oak adds a nice toasty quality.
